Dear Parents/Carers

I’m looking forward to welcoming you all back to school tomorrow and I hope you all had a good half term holiday.

Thank you for your support with our FUNdraising days.  Please make sure that we have your correct contact details so that you are kept aware of all the events that are happening this second half of spring term.  I have been very impressed with all the home learning and wonderful pieces of art and project work the children have brought into school. Our school is really looking refreshed and vibrant with lots of new displays going up around the school.

A polite reminder about the expectation of all children in Reception to Year 6 to be in full school uniform and wearing black school shoes and not trainers.  On PE days to be in full school PE Kit and on Forest School/Outdoor Learning days to be in outdoor appropriate clothing. Children are to arrive at school at 8:45am every day to have the very best start to the day.  Please note that the gates close promptly at 8:55am.

Children are not allowed to bring personal items into school and this includes jewellery.  Sensible watches are allowed and encouraged.

Please note that dogs are not allowed on the school premises even if they are being carried.

If you have any spare time and would like to get more involved in school life, please do not hesitate to let the school office know.  Even if you can only spare a couple of hours a week volunteering and helping with our youngest children we would be most grateful, cooking, gardening, painting, reading and playing with the children or volunteering with our Forest School at our onsite March Wood, would be wonderful. We have lots of opportunities for you to get involved in school life and would love to encourage more of you to do so, especially now as the days are getting longer and warmer.

All best wishes
