21 May Geometry Day
Pupils spent a whole day celebrating all things geometry. Each year group were set a variety of projects which included important geometrical components. Through these projects pupils learned about key vocabulary relating to geometry while developing their understanding of how geometry can be applied to the outside of the classroom. Pupils used a variety of tools in their learning to plan and draw for their projects. Tools including rulers, compasses, protractors and ‘Tinker CAD’ a special Computer-Aided Design software. What a brilliant day full of creativity and exploration.
